Make Ahead:
  1. My top tip is to freeze some of the fruit or buy fruit that has already been frozen, such as frozen berries. Strawberries don’t freeze perfectly, but are totally fine to use in smoothies. To freeze bananas, simply peel and chop up, then pop into a freezer bag. (I wash and reuse these bags to reduce waste.) To be even more organised, you can make smoothie freezer packs with all the chopped fruit for one smoothie individually packed in a freezer bag.
Method
  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender along with any optional extras and blitz until smooth. Alternatively, use a stick blender and the tall container it comes with or a tall jug. Taste and sweeten if you like with a little honey.
  2. Drink immediately or pour into a reusable cup or bottle to transport. Store in the fridge and stir or shake before drinking.
